Wipro Technologies just visited G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering & 12 students from Computer Science were placed. 👍

Around 5 companies have visited my college (St.Joseph's college of engineering, Chennai) so far. 😎 They are : CTS, Wipro, Mindtree, Infotech, Standard charted. More are on their way. 700 to 800 students have been placed so far. 😁

it is because of CTS and Wipro 😛 CTS alone hired 521 students!!! 😲 I think they love hiring people 😉
and yeah more students are there 😏 our college has around 1200 students per year 😎

the companies which have visited our college so far are: TCS, UST Global, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and some more IT companies.
the core company placements are just starting from this week. 😀 out of 360 students in our year around 200 are placed. 😀

Syntel is visiting today at NYSS College of Engineering for all the students selected in online technical/aptitude tests.

TCS, Persistent, Tech Mahindra, Zensar and some other software companies recently visited my college i.e. NYSS College of Engineering. And as mentioned by AKD, yesterday itself Syntel had a placement drive for all the candidates from Vidarbha region, who got selected in their online aptitude test. It was a day long event wherein 3 rounds were there: GD, Technical interview and HR interview. And the final results for the placement are going to be out within 2 or 3 days.😀

IT companies visited my college this year [2011] [my college is SRKNEC .nagpur]
1.Nvidia - it was an closed campus for srknec,ycce,and govt college amravati.
20 people selected,[job profile -testing]
2Accenture-for my college only , 200 selected .
3. wipro - 81 selected
4. tech mahindra & mahindra satyam - around 10 students.
5. l&t IT - 12 students
6 infocepts - 22 students
7 persistent - 14 students
8 cybage - 6 student
9 zensar - 2 student
10 kpit kummins ,
11 mu sigma
12 informatica
13 cap gemini
14 syntel
15 adp
16 geometric
and....

this year companies are selecting less no. of students as compared to last year.
the selection process includes
apti [maths,english] and for some companies it includes technical section also
GD for l&t ,zensar only
Technical interview
HR [some companies also ask analytical questions also]

CTS, SAP, IBM, TI, Microsoft, agc networks, goldmine,wipro---MIT, as far as i know.. nearly 70% of the coll has been placed until now..

Wipro recently visited our area for open campus drive. The technical test was not difficult they say, but results are not out yet.
