    its 15-25 storey building. using c40 concrete. 1st floor column is 1000mmx1000mm = roughly 5400kN (550 tonne). whats your comment 😕

    If the dia of steel is about 20mm ,then
    area of steel(As)=314.159mm^2
    area of concrete(Ac)= 999685.8mm^2
    we know that stress =(load/eq.area)
    hence stress =5.37N/(mm^2)
