Boeing Dreamliner 787-9 Rolls Out Of Everett, Washington Plant
Boeing [NYSE: BA] rolled out the super-efficient 787-9 on August 24th. The company said that the first 787-9 Dreamliner is the latest addition to the 787 family and was rolled out at Everett, Washington assembly plant. The company went through a lot of troubled times recently because of the li-ion battery problems its airships faced a few months go. There were two battery fires that required the flights to be grounded. One of the Honeywell-built emergency bacon catched fire at the Heathrow Airport last month, adding to company's woes. But Boeing has decided to leave it all behind and make a fresh new start with the 787-9.
