They did say they have more in store and this New Year hackers from the group 'Anonymous' have gone ahead and hunted Neo-Nazis. Declaring it as 'Operation Blitzkrieg', Anonymous has successfully disabled around 15 websites and publishing sites of the neo-Nazi National Democratic Party (NPD) in Germany. The intrusion was followed by a Twitter message addressed to those trying to access the site saying, âall Nazis and in particular Altermedia a good start to the New Year.â

A WikiLeaks-style website Nazi-leaks.net (German) was launched by the hacktivists in order to expose members of the far-right National Democratic Party (NPD). It already features a list of alleged contributors to the NPD. Not only that, internal emails, a list of contact details and customer data hacked from neo-Nazi online stores are all hosted on the site, chasing down to the customer registers of firms such as the infamous Thor Steinar clothing firm. Operation Blitzkrieg has also seen contribution from hackers in Spain, who posted a list of 1,000 alleged customers from a far-right shop. With Anonymous's adroitness at work, it has been made sure that information be 'mirrored' on other sites making it difficult for 'victims' to get rid of.
Anonymous hacktivists have also released a list of contacts from the right-wing weekly newspaper Junge Freiheit, who in retaliation have launched a legal suit against the Nazi Leaks' "anonymous operators". Operation Blitzkrieg was initially conceived in May 2011 with a message from Anonymous describing the Neo-Nazis as racist trouble-makers and that their despicable behavior "would no longer be tolerated."
Der Untergang, indeed.
