Priced at 2,199,000 IDR (or approximately Rs. 11,435 or USD 190), the Blackberry Z3 was sold across Indonesia through the company's Lifestyle stores. And now the news has it that the phone is all set to rock India next. The expected price in India for the smartphone is Rs. 11,000, but since there is no official word from the company, the actual price might slightly differ. The Blackberry Z3 features a 5-inch screen with a 540 x 960 qHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 24-bit color depth. Running on BlackBerry 10 OS, the Z3 is powered by a dual core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8230 processor, 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB flash memory. Thanks to the presence of a removable microSD memory card slot, the Z3 lets the users expand the memory up to 32 GB. A 2500 mAH non-removable battery offers up to 15.5 hours talk time and up to 16.2 days of standby time.
There's a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera on the rear with flash, continuous and touch to focus, image stabilization, 5x digital zoom and 1080p HD video recording. Whereas, the camera on the front side is a 1.1 megapixel fixed-focus camera and sports 720p HD video recording feature. Coming to network and connectivity, the phone brings with it the support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Weighing about 164 g, the phone offers dedicated keys for volume up and down, mute, power on-off and a USB port.
