It was only mid-December 2014 when Blackberry unveiled its much awaited smartphone 'BlackBerry Classic' at a price of $449 shortly after successfully launching BlackBerry Passport Specs And Price Revealed - This One Could Be Just For The Fanboys. After only a month, the phone has arrived on the Indian shores as the company ties up exclusively with e-commerce portal Snapdeal to launch the Classic smartphone for millions of Blackberry enthusiasts in India. Priced at Rs. 31,990 in India, the Blackberry Classic is a great example of finding the golden mean of the customer's favorite features blended with latest technology. Interestingly, a day ahead of the launch, eBay hosted the phone its site with a price tag of Rs. 30,900, but Blackberry officials were quick in responding that the phones on eBay are imported one and do not have supportive warranty from the company in India.

Featuring BB 10 operating system, navigation keys, a track pad, a QWERTY 35 key backlit keyboard, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 chipset 1.5GHz dual core processor, 2GB RAM, an 8MP rear camera and a 2515mAh battery onboard that lasts over a day and a half, the Blackberry Classic specifications are only sure to lure the keyboard-loving brand followers. If you would like to take a detailed look at the Blackberry Classic smartphone's specs and feature highlights, we recommend BlackBerry Classic Smartphone - Specs, Features, Price And All You Want To Know.

In this exclusive Snapdeal tie-up, BlackBerry Classic is being offered with a couple of interesting deals. For instance, the first 1,000 buyers who already own BlackBerry Bold will get Rs 4,500 off when upgrading to the Classic. And if you are a first-time buyer, on purchasing the Classic, you will receive goodies from Yatra.com of up to Rs. 10,000.

It is clear that, the company is trying to focus mainly on its business users (and not the young crowds) who want their smartphones to be all about productivity at their workplace, keeping in mind that both Blackberry Passport and Classic were targeted at the corporate personnel. After they delivered a #-Link-Snipped-#? Me, definitely..!

    Just kidding 😁

However, the feeling in my friend circle is that FlipKart is the first thing when they think 'order on-line'. Any other ecom portal is merely an after thought still. Yes, there are horror stories and rumours and bad experiences aplenty. But at present FlipKart rules.

About the phone, let us see what kind of reception it gets from people who still hangs on to QWERTY phones. Right now BlackBerry is the biggest and 'speciest' modern QWERTY phone available in this an all other universes.
