BioTech Park In Tamil Nadu India

TamilNadu government is getting serious about biotechnology. Dy. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has said that the state is currently drafting its own bio-tech policy. Doing so, TN will be the first state in India to have its own policy pertaining to biotechnology.

The new park will be setup in Mamallapuram region. The aim is to expedite the biotech industries the the region and attract major companies operating in the domain. The park is expected to complete by 2011 end.
