Project Abstract / Summary : In this era of depleting resources need of the hour is to preserve the environment. Hence, we have designed and fabricated a 4 wheeler 2 seated Battery electric vehicle (BEV). Our objective was to design a ecofriendly ergonomically safe aerodynamically stable highly engineered electric powered vehicle suitable for city road conditions.
Unique features of our vehicle are compact parking space, spacious interiors, Boot space affordable price low maintenance and longevity of the batteries.
The vehicle has a top speed of 30KMPH and can run for 120 kilometers on a single charge with an average charging time of 7-8 hours.
The vehicle has already been tested for endurance, acceleration, maneuverability, road-safety, ergonomics and various other design parameters over a course of 3 days in a national level competition held at UIET Chandigarh co-partnered by Tata Motors and Max super specialty hospital. The objective of the event is to promote environmental sustainability by creating innovative mobility solutions. The vehicle should be economical with low fabricating, maintenance and Running cost.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : In this era of constant deterioration of natural resources and increasing pollution the need of the hour is to preserve the environment for our future generations and thus this vehicle will be a step help in ensuring a cleaner and greener environment
Project Highlights : Because we have tried to apply the concepts we have learnt over the course of four years as mechanical engineers and moreover it is an idea that will address the large masses of the community and therefore the nature.
