CEans,

Those who have been marking up the text using HTML editors, could you please suggest names of the best HTML editors you have come across?

I'm looking for freeware!

Not sure if there is a "best", but a highly acclaimed multipurpose code editor (including HTML) is Notepad++ 😀

Scroll down to see plugins that can be used, such as the HTMLTag one.

I use notepad. Html is so easy that you don't really need an editor.

Coffecup has a good editor but I'm not sure if they still offer a free version.
