    VLSI is basically field for chip Designing.

    VLSI means Very Large Scale Integartion. Which means to integrate more than thousand of devices on one board. It teaches you CHIP DESIGNING & TESTING. You see mother-board of your PC, which is the best example of VLSI design.. I hope u are clear...
