B.E. In Electronics and MS in Computer Science

I did my BE in Electronics and Telecommunication.I want to pursue MS in CS. I will be having around 20 months of experience in IT field by next year. I have undergone training in BIPM, and currently working in database maintainence type project. Can I do MS in database management system or similiar field. What will be the pre requisites for doing it. I am currently working on Informatica tool, Unix , DB2 and Mainframes. Plaease suggest me some course.

But mostly you will find a complete degree in Computer Science in the top universities. You can choose subjects as per your interest if the curriculum asks for options.

I mean should I do any certification etc that will also help me in pursuing the course. I have gone through the curricular for similiar courses on various university sites and I will certainly like to take this course.

GRE score do matter,So a good score with years of Experience that you have can easily take you to some good colleges by next year.Statement of Purpose(SOP) that you write for Colleges plays a important role in college admission.Also Certification matters so try to get certified in Technology you are currently working that will help you after MS also once you are applying for Jobs.
