ASUS VG278HE Monitor Refreshes @ 144 Hz, Refreshing Gaming Experience

The demand for gaming monitors with 120 Hz refresh rate is growing but ASUS engineers wanted to go beyond. ASUS has just unveiled the 'ASUS VG278HE' gaming monitor that offers refreshing rate of 144 Hz. What does that mean to you? Well, your 2D and 3D gaming experience is just going to get a lot better. You will get additional 24 pictures per second over your 'old' 120 Hz monitor. ASUS says that VG278HE is first monitor to offer 144 Hz refresh rate.

The monitor offers 1920 x 1080 resolution an a response time of 2 ms with support to Nvidia 3D Vision 2. This 27" monitor sports HDMI, dual-link DVI and D-SUB (VGA) ports to connect your latest graphics card along with 2x3W stereo speakers in-built. We don't have any information on the pricing yet.
