After launching a series of phones, Asus is back to what it does best. One of the largest PC vendor in the world Asus launched the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi and Asus T100 Chi. Technically, T300 Chi was unveiled back in CES 2015 but it is one of those products that was overshadowed by other distinctive launches. T100 Chi is the smaller and cheaper version of T300 Chi with changes in only some features.

The T300 Chi is a 2-in-1 Windows 8.1 tablet that has a 12.5 inch full HD display. It is 2-in-1 because it comes with a detachable QWERTY keyboard that transforms the tablet into a laptop. The device is unbelievably light. Without the keyboard dock, it measures a mere 1.6 pounds (0.7 kg) and with the dock, it measures 3.2 pounds (1.4 kg). It has 4GB RAM and 128 GB of solid storage. It has got great processing capability thanks to the Intel Core M-5Y10c Broadwell processor and Intel HD 5300 graphics. The device is expected to give a battery life of 8 hours with a single charge. Under connectivity, the tablet offers the options of micro HDMI port, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, a USB 3.0 port and a microSD card reader. Asus is also providing a second variant of T300 Chi for $200 more than its original price. This variant will have a display of 2560x1440 pixels, 4 GB of RAM and a faster Core M-5Y71 processor.

The design of the Asus T100 Chi tablet is similar to Asus T300 Chi. The difference is that it has got 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of solid storage, Intel Atom Z3755 Bay Trail processor and a display size of 10.1 inches. Rest all the specs of both the devices are same. No second variant of T100 Chi has been announced as of yet. The T300 Chi tablet will cost $699 (43,000 INR) and is already available in the Microsoft Store. The price of T100 Chi is $499 (31,000 INR) but its availability is yet unknown.
