Well, we already know A.L.I.C.E. and it seems like she's finally going to Wonderland. According to a new study, Artificial Intelligence might be capable to assist our understanding of the effects of psychedelic drugs on humans.

Artificial Intelligence has long helped mankind deliver successes which require a high amount of precision and specialization. By simulating humans, Artificial Intelligence has been able to address and access fields beyond the normal reach of humans themselves. The altering effects on perception and escalation of senses due to psychedelic drugs still remains a mystery to Scientists but AI may help this discovery further.
Matthew Baggott of the University of Chicago and colleagues use machine-learning algorithms on data gathered from 1000 reports of taking mind-altering drugs uploaded to the website Erowid. Observations include that the frequency of appearance of words can determine the drug with 51 per cent accuracy on average. For example, the drug DMT (N, N-dimethyltryptamine) differs from the drug Salvia (<em>Salvia divinorum</em>) in the way they act on brain, but both trigger the same kind of response. Baggott aims to achieve new findings that would help aid the existing research on effects of drugs.
