HI CEans... I attend an aptitude test belongs to Globarena... It consists of 10 questions,each with 4 options.And 10 min time.

If possible try to solve within the Time. Its challenge to our talent..

1. The minimum no of square tiles required to pave the floor of a room 1mts92cms and 3mts60cms is

80 120 160 200

2. In a class 75% of the students passed the exam. the no of students who passed the exam is 90 and 20% of the students did not appear,then the total strength of the class is

150 160 180 200

3. The average mark obtained by 120 candidates was 35.If the avg mark of passed candidates was 39 and that of the failed candidates was 15,the no of candidates who passed the exam is

4. 20 liters of a mixture contain ilk and water in the ratio 5:3.If 4 lt of this ixture are replaced by 4 lt of ilk, the ratio of milk to water in the new mixture is

5. A shopkeeper sells an article for rs.450 after giving a discount of 25% but gains 20%.If he doesn't give a discount then he would have gained

solution for 2:> In a class 75% of the students passed the exam. the no of students who passed the exam is 90 and 20% of the students did not appear,then the total strength of the class is

solution:

let the total number of students is =x

not appeared students are=20x/100

number of appered students are=x-20x/100

=80x/100

passing students are 75%

therefore

(80x/100)X75/100=90

x=(90x100x100)/(80x75)

=150

so the strength of class is =150

solution for 7 to 8:>In a class of 120 students 55 play football,75 play cricket and 20 play neither football nor cricket..

solution is:

given total students are=120

number of students not played any game=20

therefore

n(FuC)=100

n(F)=55

n(C)=75

from the equation

n(FuC)=n(F)+n(C)-n(F^C)

100=55+75-n(F^C)

n(F^C)=30

means 30 students plays cricket and football

answer 7: 30 students played football and cricket

answer 8: (45+20)=65 students do not play football

answer 9: (13x13)+13=182 should be the next number as[( primenumber)^2+prime number ]

solution:

let the total number of students is =x

not appeared students are=20x/100

number of appered students are=x-20x/100

=80x/100

passing students are 75%

therefore

(80x/100)X75/100=90

x=(90x100x100)/(80x75)

=150

so the strength of class is =150
