hey goyal check out your option b,c,d put the "+"sign in the place of "*".
    i think 5+(5/11)min. past 7 is correct.
because hour hand will suffer some distance from 7 when minute hand arive on 5.

    solution:
at 7 o'clock ,the minute hand will be on 12
means minute hand and hour hand are 25 minute space apart
so for being in the straight line the minute hand will have to move 30-25=5 minute
as we know that 55 spaces are gained by 60 minutes
therefore 5 minutes will be gained in=(60/55)x5
    =5.45 minute
    or 5+5/11 minute past seven
so both hands will be in straight line but not together at 5+5/11 minute past 7
hope this will be the right answer
    and gd explanation

    solution for second:
as the watch is 2 minute slow at monday noon and 4 minute 48 seconds fast at following monday at 2 pm
means in (24x7+2)=170 hours watch fasts (2+4 min 48 seconds)=360+48=408 seconds
there fore the equatio will be like this
408 seconds fast will be in =170 hours
    1 '' '' ..........................=170/408 hours
    120 seconds(to cover 2 minute slow)=170x120/408
    = 50 hours
so the watch will show right time after 50 hours
and that time will be 2pm. on wednesday
I think this solution should also be correct
so option 'B' will be the right answer
    plz tell me
    am I correct or not?

    Regards
