applet cant run

hi,
this is srikanth .I have a problem with applets.Program successfully compiled but appletviewer cant be initialized my browser also opens a blank page what is the problem and how can solve this problem.

    Did you place a init method in your program?
    Did you add applet tag like/*<applet>..</applet>
    Post your program here if still you have error...
