Apple’s 27-inch Thunderbolt Displays Arriving In Stores This Week

Apple had announced their 27-inch Thunderbolt display July and Apple will start shipping to Apple Stores this week.
This huge 27-inch glossy widescreen display features a cinematic 16:9 aspect ratio and an astonishing 2560-by-1440 resolution. It can act as a docking station using a single Thunderbolt cable. With just one cable, connect any Thunderbolt-enabled Mac and get 27 inches of high-resolution screen space  and high-quality audio.

Unlike most displays that take time to warm up before they reach maximum brightness, an LED-backlit display is instantly on and uniformly bright. LED backlighting also gives you greater control over screen brightness.

It also features a built-in FaceTime HD camera, 2.1 speaker system, three USB ports, one Firewire 800 port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, and a second Thunderbolt port.

Apple introduced the new display back in July. It is presently available for pre-order for $999.
