I am fan of Tv Series (not talking about star plus daily soap😛 ).
Some of Tv series like Lost (2004â€“2010) was so addictive that I feel it better than movies.

But now I don't watch anything, Infact I have even stopped downloading all seasons from torrent.
Moved to documentaries & tech videos 😉

It will make you addict of Tv series.😀
Watched some episodes of Criminal minds then switched to House M.D.

Edit: I agree Mahabarat is great Tv show and my all time favorite. It still shows some time on Star Utsav.It's a non-fictional show.
I wonder about fictional shows like Lost and Prison break.

Wondering why no one here has mentioned FRIENDS yet. 😲 That seems to be on the top of TV series of all times. All my friends have been watching FRIENDS since first year of engineering and they never stop quoting the characters.

In my childhood when electricity gone we have even used go nearby village to watch on battery operated B&W tv if no battery tv available in my village. 😨 Looks crazy now, but it's true.
For both Shaktimann and Chandrakanta at least 20+ people gathered to watch on single tv.

While at time of Ramayana and Mahabharata there ware rarely 3-4 tv available in a village and whole village gathered to watch it.

I am also following Big Bang Theory.😀 This show never looses awesomeness

The Mentalist is fabulous show, not just solving crime but gradually progressing a dark story. Acting of characters are just pleasing to watch.👍
This show is still going and loosing the charisma, probably since I have to wait for weeks to watch next episode.
But continuous watch upto 5 season is just great.

I would be surprised if I see Game Of Thrones aired in India, not because it is among top rated show, but because there's too much of nudity in each & every episode that Indian censor board will not let it pass. Even if it will be aired, most of the scenes will be cropped and if that's done, you won't be able to understand the storyline, ever!

I have a huge appetite for intellectual/classy series. Apart from the cliche'd answer (Sherlock), I would suggest a TNT short series (just 3x1.5 hours episodes) : The Company. Awesome~

Apart from that, my all time favorite remains: That 70s show.

Just started watching 30 Rock. It is amazing! Recently, I also finished Hinterland (Season 1) and Broadchurch. If you are a fan of detective mysteries, look no further! These two nail it. And of course there is True Detective. I loved it beyond measure. Am a very big fan of Matthew McConaughey.

I just completed Game of Thrones. It's good show but I think it's overrated.
It's more like complex fantasy series with good scripting. But almost no strong character.
Things are borrowed from different fantasy series.
White walker = Walking dead zombies +/- The Mummy Army.
Too many characters so Kill one of them to give some space to another character.
Scripting and details are good, no doubt in it.
May be because I have heard so much and expected too much.☕
