    Hans and Gerrie are standing with their backs towards each other.

    Ya i got it:
    The answer is 8. Because:
    1. Square of 19=361
    19+3=22
    2.Square of 11=121
    11+3=14
    3.Square of 9=81
    9+3=12
    Hence
    4.Sqaure of 5=55
    5+3=8

    answer to third one is 8

    361 -> 22 as 19*19=361 so add 3 to 19 (19+3=22)
    121->14 as 11*11=121 so add 3 to 11 (11+3=14)
    81->12 as 9*9=81 so add 3 to 9 (9+3=12)
    25->X as 5*5=25 so add 3 to 5 (5+3=8)
