All You Need To Know About Windows 8 Pro Upgrade

Windows 8 Pro upgrade news is making rounds. Here is a short cover about all you need to know about Windows 8 Pro upgrade. First of all, Windows 8 Pro is not available for upgrade right now.  You will be able to access it if you are having a PC  being run on Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 you will qualify to download an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for just $39.99 as and when Windows 8 launches later this year (probably between Oct-Nov) from #-Link-Snipped-#. After that the upgrade will be available till Jan. 31, 2013. If you have qualms about the difference between Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro, you must know that there is very little difference for an average user. Features like BitLocker encryption, booting from a virtual hard disk, and Hyper-V, remote desktop host etc. then only these features are not seen in Windows 8 Pro.

Windows Media Center download is up for free on upgrading to Windows 8 Pro during the limited-time offer. When you make the switch, you will be able to retain only personal files on Windows XP, Windows settings and personal files on Windows Vista whereas Windows settings, personal files, and apps on all consumer versions of Windows 7.
