Adobe Social Combines Social Analytics Tools With Marketing Suite

Adobe kicks off Adobe Digital Marketing Summit 2012 with the announcement of new social media product named Adobe Social which is aimed at simplifying social marketing. The new product, which will be merged with Adobe Digital Marketing Suite, will combine social analytics with business results.

Adobe Social provides combination of social networks like facebook, Twitter, Youtube, blogs etc with social monitoring, social ad buying and social analytics. This combination can provide the social edge to your business. This product is an effort to mix all the digital marketing facilities with social media strategies. The perceptive benefiters like digital marketers, customer service providers, analysts etc will be able to manage and optimize their social media startegies along with their business efforts, all from a single platform.

Brad Rencher, senior vice president and general manager, Digital Marketing Business, Adobe, said at the product launch, “Adobe Social brings to social marketing the control and accountability expected across other digital channels. The ultimate aim is to help social media as a marketing channel mature and prove its worth alongside other digital marketing investments.” The social media technology used to build Adobe Social comes from the acquisition of Context Optional/ Efficient Frontier, which was done earlier this year. The product is also takes help of social media monitoring and analytics technology of Adobe Social Analytics.  The Efficient Frontier technology which used to provide search, display and Facebook support, now also provides support with LinkedIn Ads. Adobe Social, along with Adobe Digital Marketing Suite will be available in second half of 2012.
