If you are thinking of purchasing the Adobe Photoshop CS6, make sure that you don't have 32 bit version of the Mac. Adobe has made it clear that their latest creative suite won't run on those machines. In order to run the photoshop on Mac, you need at least a multi-core processro Mac (64bit) running Snow Leopard or latest version of the OSX.
But for Windows users, there's no such limit. The company will provide official support for CS6 on Windows XP, Windows 7. Note that Windows Vista won't be supported. Check #-Link-Snipped-# for further details.
