Remember Sesame Street, the kid's TV show where Count Dracula taught children simple mathematics and how to count? That was a long time ago and now, Adafruit, a kit-based electronics retailer, would soon be targeting the same crowd again to teach them about electronics, with the help of Muppets!

You heard it right, Circuit Playground, their new online show, along with Muppets and dolls with names like Cappy the Capacitor and Hans the 555 Timer Chip, will be teaching the basics of electronics and circuitry to children. Limor Fried, founder and chief engineer of Adafruit, will be hosting the episodes along with her team.
For a better learning experience, Adafruit has recently produced a coloring book E is for Electronics. They are also manufacturing dolls of each onscreen character and have included an add-on for the Circuit Playground iPhone/iPad app.
The episodes would be premiering on March 2013 on Google+ and Ustream. So, if you happen to have a couple of children around you, do make them watch these episodes. Who knows, Circuit Playground may just inspire them to become an engineer in the future.
