The Acer Stream was designed from the outset to be the ultimate entertainment smartphone, which is why we've equipped it with the highly intuitive Android™ Éclair Operating System, powered it by the fastest processor out there and given it Dolby Mobile to play with. The android operating system ensures that you get access to thousands of free down-loadable applications from the Android App store.  The Acer Stream comes with both urFooz and Spinlets – two great applications that allow you to browse and listen to a growing number of major music labels and record companies, and use your own personal avatar to post what you find to your favorite social networks. Not only do you get to enjoy the best radio stations in crisp, clear FM stereo, but the Acer Stream also features the Smart Web Radio service, which recommends and streams music playlists based on your personal preferences, favorite artists and even the mood you’re in.

The status bar of the Acer Stream is a mini-control center, with all the most frequently accessed settings, controls and running applications a simple tap away. One tap and no matter what you’re doing, a handy notification screen pops up for whatever you need. Get an instant message and it appears discretely from the bottom. Have music playing and you can control it without unlocking the phone. The phone has multi-tasking capabilities which allows you run multiple apps simultaneously. Stream also has a-GPS module inbuilt that lets you navigate using Google Maps application. The Acer Stream features the latest Acer enhancements to the Keyboard. With three kinds of keyboard layouts to choose from (Qwerty, Half Qwerty, 12-digit numeric) and XT9 predictive and corrective text input, you’ll be messaging faster and better than ever.

The 5 MP camera lets you capture high quality photos and also record 720p HD videos. The phone comes with 2 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The Acer Stream handles business with ease as it comes with DataViz Roadsync, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007 support and Documents To Go that puts your work email, calendar appointments, and contacts, right there on your phone.

The price of the phone in India is expected to be between Rs. 30000 - Rs. 35000.
