A project on using wind energy to other form of energy

Hi i am a new member i want to make a project on wind energy.... In my final year.

I have a concept ,first we use a tunnel can be of plastic or any tube fix an impulse turbine in it,when air passes through it the enrgy can be transferred to the battery.

Plz give me your input.
