5G on a moving train

It's wildly believed that the 5G technology will be available to the customers by 2020 and all the major telecom industry players are investing heavily on it. Samsung has just demonstrated 5G technology on a train moving at 100 kmph in Japan.

The demonstration involved downloading an 8K video and uploading a 4K video to a file sharing platform. While the exact results haven't been made public (correct me on this) the test is said to have achieved 1.7 Gbps download speed!

Those who wonder what would 5G mean to us - well in simplest of the words; it will allow all our gadgets talk to each other and be smarter. So your watch would tell your car what mood you're in and the car would then set the limits on speed. It will also setup your favorite radio station or song. It's all happening - and it's right around the corner.

I wonder apart from the TV industry, how many other industries will this new technology disrupt.
