ITU means International Telecommunication Union define the 5G for mobile network. As it has speed of 20 Gbps which is 20 times faster than 4G network. ITU conference on 5G standard held at San Diego in California of USA. By using this 5G network we can able to stream video of 4k resolutions. It will called as IMT-2020. As before IMT-2000 used for 3G & 4G networks.

Well, it's too early to talk about 5G as the technology is still being developed. While the engineers have been able to achieve <a href="https://www.crazyengineers.com/threads/5g-internet-speed-of-1tbps-breaks-wireless-data-transmission-record.79056">"5G" Internet Speed Of 1Tbps Breaks Wireless Data Transmission Record</a> in the laboratories, it'll take a while (about 10 years) before we see <a href="https://www.crazyengineers.com/threads/5g-is-being-researched-developed-give-it-10-years-at-least.66675">5G Is Being Researched & Developed - Give It 10 Years, At Least!</a>.

Is that minimum 20 Gbps? So, what BSNL is offering isn't technically 5G?

Here's a link to an article on #-Link-Snipped-# that claims BSNL will be offering free 5G in Vizag but goes on to say:
Each hotspot offers 1.2GBPS speed and has a capacity to connect 600-700 users at one go...
