Samsung's getting the 5G game ready by 2020. Sammy's electronics & telecommunication engineers have already succeeded in downloading stuff at 1Gbps speeds in recent tests. According to Yonhap News, engineers required 64 antenna elements to do the trick. The 5G technology promises data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps; as compared to 75 Mbps that the current 4G LTE. Samsung confirmed that they tested the new platform using 28 GHz waveband. The company believes that the technology can reach commercial stage by 2020, much in competition with European Union's plan to make 5G commercial by the same time. China too, has injected a lot of cash in the research & development of next generation of wireless communication.

We envision a future where the wireless networks will offer the reliability of the wired lines. We like the confirmation that 4G LTE isn't the end of the road. We're willing to wait!

The 5G will make people collaborate better on internet , as if they were working on LAN , though prices with data limits are still a concern a concern 😔

Here's a question: What happens when you put a 100 people with a 5G phone on the same cell? Will they be still getting the same speed?.
Mobile communications are great, but can you put every device on the internet on to the mobile networks?
Wireless devices, by either the mobile networks or a wireless access point, still require a fixed line cable to feed the service, right?
