    I hope you will understand the thread's concept from the title. Am little confused with this!!!!😨 Can anyone help? I need the answer with reason. 😐

    100 is answer !
    Reason : back to Grade 4, "THEORY OF OPERATIONS" where we learn short-form PEMDAS.
    P - Parenthesis
    E - Exponents
    M - Multiplication
    D - Division
    A - Addition
    S - Subtraction

    But many of them said that PEMDAS or BODMAS is applicable only when a barcket is there. No bracket=No PEMDAS. 😐

    Parenthesis is also known as brackets ... & in PEMDAS .. P stands for Parenthesis, E for Exponents, M for Multiplication, D for Division , A for addition & S for subtraction ...
    so as per your question 10x10+0 ..... there are 2 operations i.e. Multiplication (M) & Addition (A) .. according to PEMDAS ..... M comes before A ... so first multiplication .. hence 10x10=100 & then Addition, 100+0 = 100... so 100 is the answer ...

    In Tamil language alone addition has the same priority as multiplication.
    Perukkal (பெருக்கல்)(multiplication) and Koottal (கூட்டல்)(addition) both also mean sweeping.
    In arithmetic multiplication has to be done first, even if there are many of them in one expression. Addition is done later.
    So 10+10x0 =10+0=10

    BODMAS doesn't always imply "Brackets of". We were taught to read it as "Before Operation". BODMAS is universally applicable for all the mathematical expressions

    But dude ! P in PEMDAS stands for Parenthesis(also known as brackets by layman) ... so how can PEMDAS not applicable when there is "no" bracket while P itself in PEMDAS stands for bracket ,which is first operation ?? 😯

    Dear dear, or should I say dear Anbu, which is the same thing, BODMAS PEMDAS are just nemonics to help remembering something. It is much better to be clear about what is implied.
    Brackets are like rooms. Whatever is inside the brackets is a single entity on which the operations out side the brackets are done. Therefore one must first simplify what is inside the brackets. One can have any number of brackets nested, that is one inside the other.
    What has to be done in this case? Start with the innermost bracket and go outward eliminating the brackets one pair at a time.
    e.g.3x(2+(3x6 +2)) =3x(2+(18+2)) = 3x(2+20) = 3x22 = 66
    Next in prority is a single number on which an operation has to be done.
    e.g. sin30, 3^2.5 and such. This is because further operations are done after the result of this operation is done
    Next is multiplication/division. Last priority is for addition/subtraction.

    If the question is 10+10*0, then by BODMAS formula answer is 10. As, 10 * 0 = 0, then 0+10 = 10
    Hence the answer is 10.
