1.2K

CEans,

I just did some quick math. At the time of writing this post, we have about 85,434
posts.

If we decide to cross 100,000 posts by November end, let's assume we have about 50 more days to go [We have a lead of few days, I'm calling it buffer]

We need -

100000 - 85434 = 14566 new posts.
That means, we need about 291.33 posts per day!

Now you have the numbers. What do you think?

PS: No spamming - we need quality posts 😁

We need to post around 15K post in around 50 days. Means 300 posts a day. My best guess is normally 30 + members come online daily (I am talking about regular members). If all regular members post 10 posts a day + If I count posts from newbies and non-regulars.

Our count will cross 100 K or may be we can reach more than that

Here I go on the misson. Appeal to all CEan's, its high time to pay back to CE.

Make 26th a memorable day by ticking the count to 100K.

PS: this post is a repeated post; cant help it as this is the best position to post this, so copying this again.

I checked our average posting rate => 184.41 per day for the last 30 days. I guess each one of us will have to try to double our posting rate to make this possible.

Are you all game?

I'm personally planning to start about 5 new discussion threads every day.

We badly need more threads per day 😀 More threads => more posts => More search engine listing => more traffic => more members => more threads .

😉

85% of our traffic comes through search engines. For us to evolve, growing rapidly should be the focus.

With the advertisers/sponsors' money, we'll be able to setup our own Lab and try out kick ass stuff there. If we come up with something cool, the world will benefit [and of course, the CEans 😀 ]

I guess less number of new threads??? Now I understand, greater the number of new threads, more will be the posts.

CEan's start new interesting and informative threads.

Relax folks. Instead of replying to threads, think about starting new threads! It gives new opportunity for others to post 😀

Starting a new thread is same as making 10 posts! 😀

I guess not yet, anyway if you dont find a good topic to start a thread .

Then start a thread explaining what you know and what you have learnt so far .

You can start a thread explaining C language you have learnt so far.

what say?

Boy! The average is growing day by day!

0
Saandeep Sreerambatla

@saandeep-sreerambatla-hWHU1M • Oct 9, 2009

The best part is if the average lies in the ratio is 290 - 300 till the last day , we can make it because if its the last day , we will do nothing but post so I think if we maintain the average of 290 now till the last day the average will be around 320 or more we can make it.

Iff its above 400 we have a problem to solve 😀
