Samsung S95C and S90C OLED TVs: Quick Look

Samsung India has updated its OLED TV lineup with S95C and S90C. These TVs boast cutting-edge “Neural Quantum Processor 4K” technology and are made available in three sizes: 55”, 65” and 77”.

Samsung informed the press that these TVs are “Made in India” and offer remarkable picture quality. The new TVs use AI algorithms to optimise picture scene-by-scene.

The new S95C and S90C series of TVs has been validated by PANTONE; which confirms that these machines are capable of producing very realistic colors and about 110 different skin tones.

When a television is validated by PANTONE, it means that the TV's color accuracy has been certified to meet PANTONE's strict standards.

PANTONE is renowned worldwide as a professional color standardization entity, ensuring that colors are represented as accurately and consistently as possible across various mediums.

A PANTONE validated TV will deliver highly accurate color reproduction, essential for professional applications such as graphic design, photography, or film, and enhancing the viewing experience for general consumers by providing more lifelike colors and improved image quality.

Awesome Sound

The new TVs are equipped with hardware to offer Dolby Atmos and OTS+ sound technology along with Q Symphony for synchronised audio.

Q Symphony is a cutting-edge technology designed to enhance and synchronize audio experiences across multiple devices.

It provides an immersive, harmonious sound environment by coordinating various speakers and audio outputs.

With Q Symphony, users can truly elevate their multimedia encounters, whether they're watching a movie, listening to music, or indulging in virtual reality.

The technology adds depth and complexity to the audio, leading to a more fulfilling and synchronized auditory experience.

Awesome Display

Samsung's TV incorporates a feature known as Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro.

This advanced technology is primarily designed to keep up with fast-paced visuals typically seen in video games.

In simpler terms, it helps the TV screen display quick movements smoothly, without any noticeable delay, also known as 'lag', or blurring of the image, often referred to as 'motion blur'.

This results in a cleaner, crisper, and smoother viewing experience, especially when playing video games or watching high-speed action scenes.

In addition, this Samsung TV can refresh its display up to 144 times per second, a measurement also known as its 'refresh rate'.

A higher refresh rate means the TV screen can update the images it displays more frequently, leading to smoother motion in videos and games.

Furthermore, this TV model is equipped with special features that are specifically designed for gaming.

These gaming-centric features might include aspects such as a lower input lag for better responsiveness, specific game modes for optimized visual settings, or compatibility with variable refresh rate technology for smoother gameplay.

All of these components work together to enhance your overall gaming experience on this Samsung TV.

OLED is Better than LED and PLASMA

OLED, or Organic Light Emitting Diodes, offers superior performance over traditional LED or Plasma TV technologies.

Unlike LEDs or Plasmas, each pixel in an OLED display emits its own light. This enables OLEDs to achieve deeper black levels and higher contrast ratios, as pixels can be completely turned off for black scenes, resulting in more vibrant, true-to-life colors.

This also eliminates the need for a backlight, making OLEDs thinner and more energy-efficient.

Additionally, OLED displays have a faster refresh rate, providing smoother motion rendering, ideal for fast-paced content.

In essence, the OLED technology offers a more immersive and realistic viewing experience.
