While Flipkart hit the markets early this year to raise just $1B, it's received $3.6B in funding from several investors, boosting its valuation to cool $37.6B. The funds add ammo to Flipkart's arsenal in its fight against Amazon and JioMart. We'd guess some of the money would go into Shopsy - Flipkart's initiative to promote local entrepreneurship.
