  • Apple has started transitioning from Intel processors to their own custom-designed ARM-based Apple Silicon chips, starting with the M1 chip.

This transition was announced in June 2020, and it was expected to take about two years.

However, during this transition period, Apple continued to release updates for macOS that were compatible with both Intel-based Macs and the newer Apple Silicon Macs.

My sources told me that Apple will support Intel with MacOS 14. However, the MacOS 15 will Apple Silicon only.

Those who own Intel Mac machines; it's time to make the move to Apple silicon.

Let me know what you think.
