Project Abstract / Summary : The modern-day armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs) are basically tracked vehicles equipped with hydro gas suspensions, in lieu of conventional mechanical suspensions like torsion bar and coil spring. The aim is to Design, Analysis and optimization of Hydro Gas Suspension components. Since the design and weight of components influence the MBT. According to design the stress distribution in the various parts are found due to vibration. Components are designed, analyzed and optimized by using graphics software. The Creo 0.2, CAD software for performing the design phase and ANSYS 11.0 for analysis and optimization phases are used

Typical in high performance automotive and aerospace applications is the demand for reduced vehicle mass while maintaining adequate performance and safety. favors vehicles with good acceleration capabilities, and both the fuel economy and
acceleration events add to the desire for a lightweight vehicle design.
To increase the acceleration potential of a vehicle, or in this case,
physics tells us that the traction force needs to be increased
This puts a ceiling on the engine’s power capability, thus
reduction in vehicle mass becomes increasingly important, , if not the only option in the drive for improved acceleration performance. Furthermore, minimum weight requirement, so the weight reduction benefits essentially have no bound, having an underweight vehicle entry allows the engineer to put ballast in strategic locations,
such as down low on the floor pan or to a targeted location in an effort to aide or correct vehicle handling and balance.

Project Highlights : it is really useful for nation.Resource optimization is the set of processes and methods to match the available resources (human, machinery, financial) with the needs of the organization in order to achieve established goals. Optimization consists in achieving desired results within a set time frame and budget with minimum usage of the resources themselves. The need to optimize resources is particularly evident when the organization’s demands tend to saturate and/or exceed the resources currently available.

When a company is managed using a systemic approach, resource optimization is strictly linked to the concept of constraint and a systemic vision of the company. Indeed, without a systemic vision of the company we are unable to identify the global effectiveness of resource allocation and we run the risk of using resources available mainly to respond to emergencies that daily occur in the various parts of the organization.
