Spideroak - A fully encrypted secure Central Storage 2GB free

I came across this site Spideroak rather like Dropbox. The main difference is that what is stored is encrypted and accessible only to the user. There seems to be no file size restrictions also.

Is this old hat? Do CEans have any views on this? Any comparisons with other storage systems?

Interesting! When a company says they keep the user data private, we'll now have to ask how private it is from Governments and people who have access to the networks. Unless the entire data in encrypted only the encrypter knows the decryption key; no data in this world is private. But it's good to see more startup companies are trying to solve the problems of privacy.

Good to see the company sharing the concerns of users regarding privacy of data.
The 'Zero-Knowledge Privacy' standard and the terms and conditions look quite impressive at the moment. Hope they stick to their words.
