'Obama For America' App Brings Politics To Your iPhone
'Obama for America' is the new iPhone App released yesterday with an aim to connect people with Obama's campaign. The app allows the user to get acknowledged about the nearby campaigns, register for the campaign, report problems at the polling area and the likes. There is a section for campaign volunteers called 'Canvass', that gives information about the voters. It includes a list of all the houses in the user's vicinity and the number of voters in each house. Not only this, the app can record response of every user and send this collected data to Obama's headquarters. The app also allows easy social media sharing through Facebook and Twitter. It seems like Mr. Obama has not left any stone unturned to reach directly to the people.

            Mitt's VP                                       Obama For America
Contrary to what all the Obama app provides, there is also an app called 'Mitt's VP' (launched by Mitt Romney - Republican Challenger of Obama) in the App store (for iOS) and Google Play (for Android), that only lets the users know the name of Mitt's vice president. If accessed now, it will display a grey coloured 'coming soon' screen. The app would be functional as soon as it has something to include in it. Once the VP is declared, 'Mitt's VP' would allow all the big news to be easily and immediately shared across social media through this app.
Politicians turning to apps and social media for promoting their campaigns was only an obvious step. What could be next in line, we wonder.
