Nokia Maps Updated Version 2.0 For Windows Phones Released

Nokia has #-Link-Snipped-# an updated version of its Nokia Maps app by making it more personal with your photos, places reviews and favorite synchronisation. It has released a new version of its app for Windows Phones and a new Nokia Transport app. With the updated Nokia Maps, the location-based services have been enhanced for enabling users to add a photo to a place description and leave a relevant review directly from their Nokia Lumia. These photos can be later accessed on #-Link-Snipped-# by you and other users.

If users connect their Nokia Maps apps with their Nokia account, they will be able to automatically sync all their favorites across platforms (Nokia Lumia, Nokia Belle, Nokia N9) and with the mobile web version for iOS and Android.

Furthermore, Nokia Maps now lets you have instant access to the best route by pinning the directions to get to a place on foot, by car or by public transport, alongwith individual places or places categories to the start screen. Since, Nokia Maps is one of the exclusive apps for Nokia Lumia, you can always find it in the Nokia collection section of the Windows Phone Marketplace and if you have already installed a previous version you will be soon notified about the available update.
