Embedding together, the power of processing and a lifelike ultra graphics display, Microsoft is rivaling to revolutionize the touch experience through its new Surface 2 tablet device. To be more specific, the device incorporates endless capabilities through a super-thin 4 inch screen that uses PixelSense technology to provide an ultimate touch-n-feel experience to the end users.

The device weighs about 80 pounds holding a giant like 40” LCD touch screen with the ability to be mounted horizontally on a table top or mounted on the wall. It’s you who would choose the orientation that suits you the better. Surface 2’s display is built using durable Gorilla glass; I mean the largest layer of Gorilla glass ever made. This sophisticated device would repel liquid by its design and provide a stunning 1080p visual experience rendering sharp and crystal clear images through its graphics engine.

Microsoft had developed the prototype keeping in mind the device’s usage in commercial environments where it may be used and abused as well. Such places also include table-tops in bars, music venues or promotional kiosks.

Microsoft’s Surface 2 is not just a powerful device by looks, rather there’s much stuffs below the wicked display that doubles the device’s capabilities. Surface 2 uses PixelSense, the technology that eliminates the use of cameras; rather uses each pixel as a camera to sense your fingertips through 1,000,000 built-in on-the-board sensors. Such a technology allows multiple users perform their individual tasks on the same screen without interfering each other which is possible due to 50 multiple touch points.

The system runs on Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system, powered by an AMD Athlon II X2 Dual-Core CPU clocked at 2.9 GHz. In a nutshell, the device has the following specification. Have a look below:
[*]320 GB Hard Disk storage
[*]In built Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware
[*]4GB DDR3 RAM
[*]Full HD display resolution
[*]AMD Radeon HD6570M graphics engine with 1GB GDDR5 VRAM
The main motive behind the device’s use being companies to interact with their customers in new and exciting ways, social networking apps are expected to be widely involved in such a platform. Interestingly, the device is already ranking in awards while the system is preparing its way to roll into the markets with a price label of $8,400. Surface 2 is expected to hit the business places soon where it is going to be a promising gizmo with virtually endless entertainment through interaction.

At the end, do you feel surprising? After imagining the device in your mind from now, I guess you would only say: ‘Amazing Touch with Impressive Capabilities’.
