Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga, X1 Tablet Unveiled At CES 2017

Lenovo has updated its ThinkPad X1 range of devices just in time for CES 2017. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 had been unveiled a year ago at the same event last year and the new devices have upgraded features. Let’s start with the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon which is an Ultrabook with carbon fibre chassis. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon crams in a 14inch IPS panel display into a 13inch form factor and it weighs just 1.14kgs which make it the thinnest, lightest and most durable notebook available in the market. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon comes with Windows Hello which means you can use the infrared camera or the fingerprint sensor to secure your data. Lenovo has been accused in the past to cram in bloatware into its PCs but not anymore. This time it is using the Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Signature Edition with no trialware or unwanted apps. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a Thunderbolt 3 enabled device along with LTE connectivity and Intel Tri-Band Wireless connectivity. You get an Intel 7th Gen processor with up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM and different SATA and SSD storage options. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon can last for up to 15 hours on battery backup. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is available in Black and White colour variants at prices starting at $1349 from February 2017.

Next, in line, we have the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga which takes ahead the range’s much lauded multi-mode flexibility to the next level with a redesigned rechargeable pen called the ThinkPad Pen Pro with new elastomer tip for natural writing experience. You can buy the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga with up to 14inch OLED display. The new rise and fall keyboard retracts fully flat in tablet mode for user comfort. This one too features Thunderbolt 3 and 15 hours battery life along with LTE connectivity. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is powered by Windows 10 Pro and comes in seven SSD storage variants to up to 1TB. The RAM figures go up to 16GB. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga will be available from February 2017 at prices starting from $1,499.

Finally, we have the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet which is a two in one tablet with detachable keyboard. You can add in modules like Productivity Module which is the keyboard dock and the Presenter Module which is a projector module that creates at 60inch display without any additional hardware or cables. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet has a 12inch 4K IPS panel display. It is powered by either Windows 10 Home or Pro 64 bit version. You have a choice of Intel 7th gen processors and 6 storage levels of up to 1TB along with 16GB of RAM. You get the same 4G LTE connectivity along with dual-band or tri-band Wi-Fi and fingerprint sensor. The cameras on this tablet are an 8MP one on the rear and a 2MP one on the front. Prices of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet start at $949 and will be available from March 2017.
