LeEco unveils Super4 series of 4k TVs in India - Features Overview

LeEco surely made a mark in Indian market with its ‘Le’ range of devices, allegedly at an expense of brand sustainability. Going by the rumors, the company was all set to leave the market. It seems that’s not the case here. On Thursday company launched its new series of 4K TVs named Super4 TV in India showing their presence and intension to stay. The series has already been launched in U.S recently and will be available in India from today onwards exclusively via Amazon.

Super4 series includes 3 TVs with 40-inch, 43-inch, and 50-inch displays. LeEco Super4 X40 TV, the smallest among all, is equipped with a 40-inch 1920X1080 pixel LED display and 4K UHD displays are provided in Super4 X43 and Super4 X50. As advertised by the company, it comes with HDR10-A dynamic range which helps in creating realistic pictures by utilizing greater contrast ratios. An 85% Wide Color Gamut ensures more natural color reproduction ensuring near to real life images. The TVs look stunningly beautiful with thickness ranging between just 7.9 mm to 9.9 mm surrounded by brushed aluminium borders.

Coming to the smartness part, the Super4 series runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with custom EUI 5.8 on top. Google Screen Cast is also supported which provides the ability to run apps from external sources. The TV boasts a partnership with YuppTV, which provides live TV streaming, especially for Indian viewers. Processing is handled by a 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex CRM processor along with 3GB of RAM. No compromise is done in connectivity part and all the major ports and transfer methods are present including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, 2 HDMI ports and 3X2 USB ports.

The TVs are priced at Rs. 46,990 for the X40 model, Rs. 63,990 and Rs. 86,990 for X43 and X50 model respectively. Comparable models from brands like Sony or Samsung easily cost 15 to 20k more. With availability of enough 4K content these days, Super4 can be the start to your 4k experience.
