Learning a foreign language is not just a hobby anymore.
Needless to say, It’s got more benefits than ever.

Here's bringing you a simple way of learning Basics of Japanese.

Japanese syllables are divided into 3 categories:

    HIRAGANA, KATAKANA and ROMAJI

Hiragana - is the basic collection of japanese vowels and consonants.
Katakana - is the script used to write or read the English words.
Romaji - is the English interpretation of Hiragana and Katakana.

Hiragana consists of five vowels just like English, but pronounced differently.

    They are a, i, u, e, o.

    Pronounced :

    a as "aa"
    i as "ee"
    u as "oo"
    e as "ae"
    o as "O"

    Written as

    あ - a い - i う - u え- e お- o

A personal note for all the CEans who would really like to learn Japanese:

Make an entry of each of these posts in a small notebook.
That would be really helpful to understand and recall things later. ;-)

And let me know if you find my first attempt to japanese tutorial helpful.

Its really a nice initiative and helpful. World is too small to roam; so its always great to learn atleast something about all the language; If not all, then better atleast a few. 😁

Good job Ankita.. keep doing good work.

    Hi,
I'm not taking a Japanese language class right now, so I'm trying to keep my skills from deteriorating too much by using #-Link-Snipped-# through their podcasts. Tools like this can be a great supplement to language learning, but there's nothing like an in-person tutor. Japanese and many more languages. I'm learning Languages with this tool it's very helpful and I hope it helps you.
