InFocus M260 Low-Budget Smartphone Launched In India

InFocus has officially announced the launch of its new budget phone InFocus M260 in India. The company has been slowly gaining a strong foothold in the market. It now has a range of smartphone catering to every price and features demand. The latest smartphone InFocus M260 falls in the low-budget category and has been priced at Rs. 3990. The phone's interesting design is evident in the official image with orange strips on a black body. M260 will be available in 3 colour variants namely - Yellow, Orange and White. The phone has been officially listed on e-commerce portal SnapDeal and is said to go on sale before November first week.

Featuring Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box, the InFocus M260 smartphone comes with a MediaTek MT6582M SoC Cortex A7 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with Mali-400 GPU. The processing power is combined with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The phone comes with a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution and 218 ppi pixel density. The display has a multi-touch capacitive touch screen. The InFocus M260 is a Dual SIM device and supports GSM and UMTS networks.

The phone's primary rear camera comes with a 5 megapixel sensor that supports LED flash and 4x Digital Zoom, whereas the front snapper is a 2 megapixel selfie camera. Among the several smart features that accompany these cameras, there is White Balance, Continuous Shooting, Face Recognition, Exposure Compensation, Scene Setting and Beauty Shot.

The phone's 2000 mAh Li-ion battery should provide enough juice to help the phone last a better part of the day. M260's connectivity options include - WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, 3G, microUSB 2.0, GPS and USB Connectivity.

Weighing about 155 grams, the InFocus M260 comes in a 10.4 mm thick body. It features several sensors such as Accelerometer, Light sensor, Proximity sensor etc. It goes without saying that the phone has a 3.5 mm audio jack and supports FM Radio.
