How to optimise recycling of plastics to minimise fresh production?
Even the food industry alone covering packaging of food materials in various forms (including raw, partially processed or ready to consume), delivery packaging to the consumer, and even eating use a huge amount of plastic as films, containers, bottles, trays, plates and cutlery.
Even the minuscule amount that is recycled never gets used for the original purpose. Unless the recycled plastic is used for the original purpose, we are not really solving the waste generation problem.
How can we minimise production of virgin plastic disposables?
