No! This is no April fool’s prank. I was also in a dilemma after reading the news but to my surprise it came out to be true. Larry Klayman has sued facebook and Mark Zuckerberg for over $1 billion as they failed to remove a page instantaneously. What was so important about the page? The page called for the third intifada against the Israel’s Jewish population. Larry is a former Justice Department prosecutor, well known American Activist, former US senate candidate and a book Author.

[IMG]Larry himself being of Jewish origin, he filed a complaint yesterday at Washington. Larry has founded the controversial law firm “Judicial Watch” and “Freedom Watch” which is a political advocacy group. Larry claims that Facebook intentionally kept the page to increase their revenue and hence the net worth. Now let us see  what facebook has to say on this? It says that it took down the page on 29th of March 2011 because it directly called out for violence which is against the rules of a social networking site.

This page urged the Palestinians to come out on the streets after the Friday prayers on 15th may and start an uprising after the two popular intifadas. The page read  “Judgment Day will be brought upon us only once the Muslims have killed all of the Jews.” [Quoted By: <a href="https://techcrunch.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TechCrunch • Startup and Technology News</a>] Not to mention that the page had more than 3, 40,000 fans. How could Facebook nurture such an anti-social view when it calls itself “A Social networking Giant?” You have to answer this Facebook. The page was pulled down when the site was pressurized by Larry, the Israel Government and the organization like “Anti Defamation League.”

To my surprise he links his allegation to the movie “The Social Network”

Here is what Mr. Klayman has to say:

“While Facebook has accomplished a lot of good, it can, as in this instance, be used for nefarious and evil purposes. Defendants Zuckerberg’s and Facebook’s callous and greedy actions in not taking down the page, but willfully allowing it to stay up for many days, has caused huge damage, for which they must be held accountable, so as to prevent this from ever happening again.

They must be not only enjoined but also hit in their purse, which is where they understand matters best. Apparently, the ethically compromised Zuckerberg has no conscience or sense of right or wrong, as depicted recently in the award winning film “Social Network.”

And this of course does not seem to be a meaningless acquisition. Wish you all th every best Facebook!
