Control A Paper Airplane With A Smartphone

When we were kids, we spent a lot of time in making paper airplanes and flying them off from our terraces or windows. But those airplanes stayed in air only for a limited amount of time, which was the annoying part.

With the intention of making things interesting, TailorToys have announced their updated PowerUp 3.0 Electric Paper Airplane Conversion Kit which includes a paper plane which flies on its own power. There were previous versions too, but version 3.0 lets you take control of the plane using a smartphone. All your smartphone needs to support is Bluetooth 4.0.

The company has planned the shipping of the kit in August 2013. They also made an announcement about a similar PowerUp Boat Kit, where a paper boat uses its own power. Its shipping would be done around July 2013. TailorToys kept the pricing of both the kits undisclosed.
