Brief about Artificial Intelligence: The future of technology

Whenever we talk about future technologies, we always have a doubt related to some technologies like ROBOTICS, AI(Artificial Intelligence), DL(Deep Learning), or ML(Machine Learning).

In this session we are going to discuss the most important technology of the era i.e, AI(Artificial Intelligence)

First of all, the question is-

What is Artificial Intelligence?

It is the study of Computer Science focusing on developing software or machines that exhibit human Intelligence. AI systems will typically demonstrate some of the following human intelligence, like; Planning, Reasoning, Learning, Problem Solving. Perception, Knowledge Representation, Motion, Manipulation or creativity(less extent).

Obviously, there is a lot more in it. AI is a broad topic ranging from simple calculators to self-steering technology to something that might change the future.

Goals of AI?

We can classify the goals in to categories i.e, Short Term and Long Term.

Short Term Goals of AI includes: Reasoning, Knowledge Representation, Planning, Learning, language processing and ability to manipulate and move objects.

Long Term Goals of AI includes: AI research, achieving creativity and Social Intelligence.

Types of Artificial Intelligence:

Machine learning

Machine learning is the most important type of Artificial Intelligence. It is inspired by the study of pattern recognition. Machine learning enables the software algorithms to self-teaching and can make predictions about data.

Neural networks

Neural networks is a Biologically-Inspired paradigm which enables a system to learn from the observational data. Neural networks can adapt itself to changing inputs thus the network generated is of the best possible result.

Deep Learning

Deep learning is also one of the trending technology now days, Basically deep learning is a powerful set of techniques for learning in neural networks.

It is a sub-field of machine learning focused with algorithms inspired by the structure and function of the brain called artificial neural networks. and that's why both the terms are co-related.

How to get started?

The first thing you need to do is learn a programming language. There are so many languages that you can start with but Python is what many prefer to start with because of its large libraries are better suited to machine learning.
