Android has already #-Link-Snipped-#, #-Link-Snipped-# and recently became a part of #-Link-Snipped-#. Continuing this run, Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) now has come to your in-wall oven. California-based Dacor has debuted world’s first Android powered Wi-Fi oven at CES 2013. To be more specific, a seven inch device named as Discovery IQ Controller controls this 30 inch oven. The device is powered by a 1 GHz Samsung S5PV210 processor with 512 MB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB and the external memory can go up to 32GB.

So the question now is, how will you use its computing capability? You can calculate the exact amount of heat and time required to cook any particular dish by using Dacor Discovery IQ Cooking Application and Guide, download recipes and watch cookery videos, access your oven wirelessly by any other internet capable gadget like your smartphone, laptop and tablet. But it’s pretty much sure people will be also using it to play games and update their facebook status. The oven will be available in stores across the US from this summer in single and double wall variants whose prices are $4499 (248,457 INR) and $7499 (414,132 INR) respectively.
