VU Unveils Smart TV Range In India Starting At Rs. 20,000
California-based luxury television manufacturer Vu on Thursday-launched a range of 4 new Premium Smart televisions starting at Rs 20,000. The screen sizes of the novel sets vary between 32-inch to 55-inch featuring a Quad-core Internet video processor and providing excellent entertainment services. The four models are priced at- 32-inch (HD resolution, Rs. 20,000), 40-inch (full-HD resolution, Rs. 30,000), 50-inch (full-HD resolution, Rs. 42,000) and 55-inch (full-HD resolution, Rs. 52,000).
The USP of the devices includes smart connectivity for access of the Internet through a built-in Web browser, which mirrors smartphone screen, and a small range of applications that deliver content and information over the Internet directly to one's TV. Pre-installed and supported applications include Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, and AccuWeather, among others. It also features direct access buttons for Netflix and YouTube on the remote itself. The televisions boast of HDMI ports, screen-sharing facilities, USB ports, mobile high-definition link (MHL) and DLNA (digital living network alliance) characteristics.
They also incorporate an in-built gaming centre with collection of unlimited movies, videos, TV channels and cartoons. At offer also are on-demand video channels such as YuppTV, RedBull, Kidoz and Tedx, etc. which make for an amazing television watching experience.
With this launch VU Technologies is looking at sales growth of 80 percent (about Rs 500 crore) in revenue for 2017, banking on the enhanced presence and growth in online format in the country.
The entire range will be available for buy on Indian e-commerce platform Flipkart.
