• Unity lens in Ubuntu : Spyware ?

I have read many blogs which are mentioning that Ubuntu is a spyware, because of the Unity lens.
Even Sir Richard Stallman says so! Do you agree ?

This is how Unity lens works :
Let's say I have installed "Amazon" lens,Now whenever I search something in Amazon lens,It sends the information to Ubuntu server & then Ubuntu sends information to Amazon server.
Amazon then collects the received data & performs required calculations, then it transmits data back to Ubuntu server.Ubuntu then sends data back to user.
This is spyware,right ?

A user's search should remain private,right ?

What's your take,CEans ?

Unity Lens uses scope which actually performs the search. It doesn't send any data to Ubuntu server. Look at the architecture Unity/Lenses - Ubuntu Wiki.
